Stephen Hoshaw

I attended Oregon State, studying engineering during my freshman year, then switched to the U of O at the beginning of my second year. I became interested in the School of Journalism and Communications immediately, and started to pursue my degree in that area. I enjoy creating both video and audio media, and hope to further my skills in this area as I continue through school.

Ross Olsen

My name is Ross Olsen and I am a junior at the University Of Oregon. I am majoring in Communication Studies and minoring in Business. I grew up and live in Springfield, Oregon.  I enjoy music, playing guitar, running, hiking, biking, disc sports, and reading. I am interested in Journalism because I enjoy learning about the media, using social networking sites, improving my skills in writing and presenting professional work, and knowing about the trends and changes happening in the media.

Paige Landsem

I’m Paige Landsem and I’m a sophomore at the UO majoring in public relations with a business minor.  I work as an Account Executive at Allen Hall Public Relations, our student-run public relations firm on campus.  My classes in the journalism school have helped me developed a passion for new media and social media, and I love writing, blogging and using Twitter to connect with people in Eugene and around the country.  In addition to my journalism interests, I love the Oregon Ducks football team and watching 30 Rock.

Hi! I’m an international student from Taiwan studying at the University of Oregon. I’m a sophomore majoring in advertising and minoring in multimedia and business administration. I spent my freshman year in Taiwan’s college majoring international trade. I envisioned my future working in the field of international trade and eventually realized that the possibilities of working routinely in an office is not my preference. I like working creatively and closely with people. After taking classes from the professional Journalism school in U of O and getting chances to talk to people working in the Journalism field, I thought working in Journalism is something I want to pursue. So, Here I am! Besides, I like doing photography, filming, exploring social media and so on.
